Fishing games explained, from bullets to bosses
Fishing games look like arcade shooters, but every shot is a small bet with a random outcome. Live Casino House lists more than 30 of them from three studios. This guide explains how a shot is settled, what the weapons do and how to keep the cost per minute under control.

How fishing games work
In fishing games you share an underwater arena with other players, usually up to four, each with a cannon at the edge of the screen. Fish swim across in waves, and you fire at whichever you choose.
Before shooting you set a bullet value, and every shot costs that amount whether it hits or not. Each fish has a multiplier: small fish pay a few times the bullet, large ones 50 times or more, and bosses several hundred times. Catch a fish and you receive the bullet value multiplied by its number.
Whether a hit catches the fish is decided by a random number generator. The bigger the multiplier, the lower the chance per shot, and the game returns its stated percentage over the long run. Aim decides what you shoot at, not whether the shot pays.
The three fishing studios
JILI
Known across South-East Asia for both slots and fishing. Its rooms are split by stake level, so start by picking the room that fits your budget.
Dragoonsoft
A studio with its own line of fishing and arcade-style shooters. Read each game’s help screen first, because features differ from title to title.
FA CHAI
Colourful shooters with Asian themes and plenty of special fish. Learn a title’s boss events at the lowest bullet value before raising it.
Weapons and features, and when they help
| Feature | What it does | When it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Standard cannon | Fires single bullets at the value you set | Everyday shooting at small and medium fish |
| Auto-fire | Keeps shooting without tapping | Convenience only, since more shots per minute cost more |
| Target lock | Sends every shot at one chosen fish | Following a high-value fish through a crowd |
| Torpedoes, drills and lasers | Cost several bullets and hit many targets at once | A crowded screen, where one shot has many chances |
| Bomb and chain fish | Set off a blast that can catch fish nearby | When they swim through a dense group |
Cost control with real numbers
Cost per minute is bullet value multiplied by shots per minute. Auto-fire at about two shots a second is 120 shots a minute. At 1,000 VND a bullet that is 120,000 VND staked per minute and 7,200,000 VND in an hour.
If a game returns 97% over the long run, an hour at that pace costs about 216,000 VND on average. With 5,000 VND bullets the same hour stakes 36,000,000 VND and costs about 1,080,000 VND. The 97% is an illustration, and each title states its own figure in its help screen.
- Set the bullet value from your budget, not from the size of the fish on screen.
- Switch auto-fire off between waves.
- Fix a time and a spending limit, and stop at whichever comes first.
Fishing offers
New members who mainly play fishing can choose the Fishing Welcome Bonus: 100% up to 1,500,000 VND from a 200,000 VND deposit, with x22 wagering on fishing games only. It takes the place of the other welcome offers, since each account gets one.
Bronze and Silver members also have the Daily Reload for fishing (10% up to 380,000 VND, wagering x10) and the Weekend Reload (20% up to 250,000 VND, Friday to Sunday, x10). The promotions page explains the rules, and the VIP page covers rebate and cashback for play without a bonus.
Fishing games are for adults aged 18 and over. The responsible gaming page has advice on time limits, which matter in a game with no natural pauses. For one bet at a time, try online slots instead.
Fishing games FAQ
Are fishing games skill games?
Only in part. You choose the target, the bullet value and the moment to fire, but a random number generator decides whether a hit catches the fish.
Do other players in the room affect my results?
Each player’s shots are settled separately. Another player can catch a fish you were shooting at, and the bullets you already fired at it are spent.
Is it better to shoot only the big fish?
Big fish pay more and are caught less often, and small fish are the reverse. The long-run return is designed to be broadly similar, but chasing only bosses makes results swing harder.
Can I use the Fishing Welcome Bonus on slots?
No. Its wagering counts on fishing games only. If you also play slots, compare it with the Slots Welcome Bonus and the First Deposit Bonus first, because you can take just one.
